Preparations are well underway for the departure day event in Victoria Square, Hull. Due to Look North hoping to televise the send off with Caroline Davis on Thursday 25th October the convoy will now be leaving Victoria Square at about 6.45pm

Recently, the HFT drivers underwent a course of off road driver training courtesy of our sponsors – D&S Events.
Many of the team found it invaluable and rather surprising. The L200’s certainly out performed our expectations and the magic low-range gear stick came in for some serious use at last.

The HFT team recently underwent a rigourous weekend of training in the North Yorkshire Moors. We received training in wild camping, navigation, vehicle recovery and we even stumbled across a border crossing simulation with a border guard whose only intention was to take bribes for everything!

Teams members from HFT had an entertaining evening on the 23rd September with an opportunity to show off our vehicles in the middle of an Ice Hockey match. It we an important home game between the Hull Stingrays and the Sheffield Steelers. Tense stuff…
